Our Team
We bring different perspectives to the table, but we’re united by a passion to support women and their health.
Jessica Gesue, MBA, NWC-HWC
Founder | OwnerJessica Gesue founded Alluvita Health + Wellness out of a deeply personal conviction that women deserve better, a more thoughtful, integrated approach to their health. After hearing the same frustrating limitations echoed by multiple physicians, she knew there had to be a better way, one that truly bridged the gap between patients and providers. That belief gave way to a unique model that brings physicians, mental health professionals, and nutrition experts together under one roof, creating a seamless, whole-person experience for every patient. Combining this medical practice with Alluvita Social Wellness, a lifestyle club, creates a truly integrated approach to well-being.
Through Alluvita's integrative approach, women no longer have to navigate their health journey alone or in pieces. As the practice grows and learns more about the women it serves, Jessica remains committed to continuously evolving and welcoming new disciplines that reflect the full complexity of women's health and wellness.

Physician Advisor + PartnerDr. Mia Duncan, MD, is a board-certified physician and women's health specialist focused on accessible longevity for normal people. Her work blends preventive medicine, lifestyle coaching, and a urinary-health-informed approach to whole-body wellness — because the bladder, like the heart and the gut, has something to say about how the rest of the body is doing.
Dr. Duncan's interest is in longevity that meets people where they live: not biohack-forward, not built on deprivation, not the territory of optimizers and influencers. Her clients are people who want to add good years to their lives without giving up the wine, the steak dinners, or the parts of their lives that make those years worth having. She refers to these experiences as "precision indulgence" and is open to how people make way for the good stuff in their lives while still prioritizing their health.
At Alluvita, Dr. Duncan is a preventative specialist, offering consultations blended with lifestyle medicine and coaching that look at sleep, nutrition, movement, stress, social connection, and environmental exposures alongside the body signals most people have been taught to ignore.
She lives in Columbus with her family which includes a teenage daughter, a Great Dane and a pit bull.

Mental Health CounselorJulie Hiller is a Board-Certified Functional Medicine Health and Nutrition Coach. She is a Registered Nurse with more than 16 years of clinical experience and holds a Master of Science in Applied Nutrition. Julie specializes in helping women who struggle with weight-loss resistance, gut health challenges, food sensitivities, and autoimmune conditions through one-on-one coaching.
Julie’s approach combines the science of nutrition with the principles of functional medicine, empowering clients with long-term, practical approaches to nutrition instead of short-term dieting strategies. She empowers people to permanently adopt healthy eating patterns, heal their gut, and restore balance in their bodies so they can thrive—not just survive.
Her work focuses on addressing the root causes of digestive discomfort, fatigue, and metabolic challenges, rather than masking symptoms with quick fixes. Passionate about guiding clients beyond the frustration of failed attempts and persistent symptoms, Julie creates personalized, practical strategies that help people regain energy, confidence, and control over their health. She believes that sustainable change happens through education, accountability, and partnership, and she meets clients exactly where they are on their wellness journey.
